OCIR THE hereby invites potential consultants to tender for consultancy of regulation of Rwanda tea sector, as detailed in the bid document.

Participation to tender is open on equal conditions to all firms interested in the tender.

Interested firms are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals for consultancy services regarding the regulation of Rwanda tea sector.

Tender document may be obtained from OCIR THE’s main secretariat from 19th April 2010, upon presentation of a prepaid bank slip of a non refundable fee of five thousand Rwandan francs (5,000 Rwf), or in any other easily convertible currency, deposited on the Bank account Nº 11350-34 opened in the Bank of Kigali (B.K), belonging to OCIR THE.

Well typed bids, suitably bound and presented in four sealed copies, one of which is original and three others copies, subject to be rejected, must reach, the Director General of OCIR THE P.O Box 1344 Kigali, Tel: 0252574410, Fax: 0252573943, Gikondo-Kigali/Rwanda not later than 26th May 2010 at 9h00 a.m local time or 07h00 a.m GMT. Bid copies shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of 2% of ones’ tender price, issued by a recognized bank, or insurance company registered in Rwanda.

Bids shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bids opening. Opening of bids shall take place in public on 26th May 2010 in OCIR THE’s board room at 10h00 a.m local time or 08 h00 GMT.
